Pattachitra - Scroll Painting of Gazi Pir (Gazir Pat)
Folktales behind the inspiration: Gazir Pat is a traditional scroll painting by rural patuya (painters), depicting events from the life of Gazi Pir. The central panel shows Gazi Pir on a tiger, with Manik Pir and Kalu beside him. Since Gazi Pir is believed to control animals, many tigers are included in the artwork. The paintings mainly use red and blue pigments and are created on coarse cotton cloth.
